Onemish Lodge is a stunningly remodeled 1908 building set in the historic railroad town of Skykomish, just 15 minutes to the Stevens Pass Ski Resort. An expansive and well-appointed great room, industrial chef's kitchen, two living areas and five private bedrooms, each with an en-suite full bathroom, makes this the perfect place for groups of up to 15. Reclaimed and refurbished local materials such as the elegant chandeliers salvaged from the original Tacoma Narrows Bridge (aka "Galloping Gertie") bring a unique story to every area of this magnificent lodge. BEDROOMS: 13 guests can be accommodated in private bedrooms in this 3000+ square foot space, with a sleeper sofa in the den. An impressive granite slab hearth and Corten steel surrounds the easy to use electric fireplace so your group can effortlessly return from a day on the slopes, drop the gear off in the dedicated front entry area, and cozy up around the fireplace at the touch of a button. Designed with our guests in mind, there are plenty of games, books, and conversation starters to keep everyone entertained while your favorite playlists connect to the built-in sound system. A second living area with a flat screen tv, Xbox, DVD player, movies and streaming services is the ideal set up for everyone to enjoy a movie together or to close the door on those noisy kids and their gaming competitions. The sofa can be converted for another two guests to have a private sleeping area. OUTDOOR AREA: Incredible mountain peaks are all around with sounds of the Skykomish river nearby. A propane grill and sparkling spa are wonderful ways to spend a summer night under the stars. Set in the historic railroad town of Skykomish, a court for basketball and tennis, playground, free mini-train rides in the summer months, dining options and a beautiful riverfront promenade are all just a block away. You will be centrally located for the best access to the nearby downhill mountain bike and ski resort, white water rafting, hikes, and all the rest of the best of the Pacific Northwest!
