Tentrr Signature Site - The Lost Boys Hideout
Summary: The best way to practice social distancing is to come camping in the woods, commune with nature and turn isolated time into quality time! Check in between 4 - 6pm. Check out by 10am. Extra thorough disinfectant cleaning after every checkout has always been standard practice, but we wanted to communicate that clearly with everyone. Welcome to this campsite in the woods with a private seasonal pond and hiking trails. This tent site is very secluded and yet still just short 5 minute drive to the beach and a full-service boat ramp at Horace Lake, so bring your boat, water skis or fishing gear! Campers can rent our canoes for Horace Lake or Turkey Pond for great fishing. Don't forget your mountain bike for trails or area specialty adventure centers (Lake Sunapee is only 45 minutes away). Off site ATV trails, snowmobile trails, and other seasonal adventure locations are within easy reach. Be at peace and stay by the campfire soaking in calm with nature surrounding you. I'll have a jugs of fresh drinking water ready for you and plenty more where they came from, so unless you have a preference there is no need to buy water! We include a small amount of split firewood, with more available for purchase right on site. We have an ever changing inventory of products for sale and rent. Just ask if you are in need of anything :) We are excited to meet you! One night stays will be considered on a case-by-case basis - don't hesitate to ask! If we don't have a prior reservation, we will do our best to accommodate you! 5 day vacations get an automatic discount! Other special event and group pricing is available. Let us help serve you :) The Space: Campsite hidden in the woods away from the hooks of everyday life to escape the stresses of a world wide pandemic. Social distance at it best! Check out our weekday, 5 day and Returning 5 Star Reviewers discounts :) Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Other Things to Note: All Pets are welcome. Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50.
