Within walking distance is the La Jolla Cove, the Library, the Rec Center & Tennis Courts, the La Jolla Woman's Club, the Contemporary Art Museum, La Jolla's Historic Society, the historic La Valencia Hotel & the Grand Colonial La Jolla, The Conrad Preby's Performing Arts Center, The Lot, yoga, gyms, spas and much much more. A short drive down to the Shores and you can scuba dive, kayak and snorkel off the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. Walk the Shores to the Pier or enjoy lunch a the La Jolla Hotel. Located above the Shores is the Birch Aquarium. La Jolla is centrally located just north of Downtown & the South Bay, just south of Del Mar & the North County and just west of San Diego's mountains and deserts. The property is a 1950's 1-bedroom cottage with a private entrance, a private yard and off street parking right outside the door. The cottage has been well cared for with many recent updates. It’s walking distance to Windansea Beach and half a mile from restaurants. We decided to cook and use the grill on the patio to prepare all our meals. There were plenty of utensils, dishes, and pans for us to cook. They also had a lot of toys, umbrellas, and chairs for us to use at the beach. Really cozy and accommodating.
