What's nearby: For hiking, Turtleback Mountain Preserve, located just 10 miles from your door, features North and South Trailheads that both offer beautiful views. Head up to Eastsound, 11 miles north, where you'll find many restaurants and a grocery store. Additionally, starting the first week of May, Eastsound also hosts the Orcas Island Farmer's Market featuring local food, cider, produce, and handmade crafts.
