Fall Asleep to the Sound of a Creek

We are following the Airbnb guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing the unit after each guest. Since wife and I are in the high risk category of this terrible pandemic we are now only accepting reservations from guests who have been vaccinated and are practicing CDC guidelines about social distancing and wearing of masks when in public. WE APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE IF THIS APPEARS TOO PERSONAL, BUT WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING A SAFE AND HEALTHY EVIRONMENT FOR OURSELVES AND OUR QUESTS. This space is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet and respite from urban life. Guests can fall asleep with the sights and sounds of water from the creek and a waterfall across our canyon while breathing the crisp, clear air of our woodsy, Covid-19 sensitive property. Guests will be welcomed to a 500 sq. ft. open floor plan apartment with your own outside entrance. There you will find a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, dining/living area (with futon), full bath and a king-sized sleeping loft overlooking a year round creek that can be accessed by driving down our dirt road or take a short (0.3 miles), but challenging walk through the trees. On the lower deck below your unit, you are invited to use a large, covered deck equipped with a hot tub, hammock, gas barbecue and patio furniture. We are also willing to share the bounty from a very large garden and seasonal fruit trees. At the creek, guests will have use of a private swimming hole, a sundeck and several seating, picnicking and sunning places near the water. Additionally, guests have access to a 32' Winnebago camper adjacent to the sundeck that is equipped with a bathroom, microwave oven and electrical hookups. There are several rustic trails along this 30 acre parcel that would allow guests to experience very private nature walks. An additional Airbnb Experience is available for guests to spend several hours in our fully equipped woodworking shop to create your own heirloom cedar toy made from reclaimed wood. Garden Orchard Creek Downstairs Deck We are willing simply to offer this space for the adventurous souls to experience the calm and beauty of a natural surrounding or be nearby to share our love for our property and its wonders. The Gold Country is an artistic cultural haven with a bounty of activities. Guests are welcome to lounge by the creek on the deck by the waterfalls to have private picnics and relax and reflect in the peaceful atmosphere. We are a 5 minute drive to a local shopping center with a super market, 12 restaurants, yogurt shop, bicycle shop, pharmacy and fitness club. It is a 18 minute drive into Grass Valley and 22 minutes to Nevada City. The creek on the property is easily accessible by 4 wheel drive vehicle or by a short, but mildly challenging, 0.3 mile scenic walk down our road. Guests will be issued a walkie talkie when going to the creek and can be picked up with our jeep in an emergency. - This is a no smoking home - We prefer you take off your shoes when in the house. Slippers can be provided. - We are requesting 2 day minimum reservations. - This is an adults only listing - Please provide your own washcloth for make-up removal - We request you bring your own floatation devices and water shoes for the creek - Upon arrival, guests will be required to sign a full liability waiver. Swimming in the creek is at their own risk.
