Privacy, Peace and Tranquility! Come and relax on your very own private nine acre Island, accessible by vehicle, has hundreds of feet of incredibly beautiful water frontage and comes complete with a 2 story log sided home offering 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 10 foot ceilings and knotty pine throughout. Feel time and stress melt away! Take a morning stroll down the trails to view the sunrise at The Point and relax on the water at the beach when it's time to view the sunsets. With plenty to enjoy inbetween sunrises and sunsets, swimming, kyaking, canoeing, horseshoes, darts and cornhole to name a few. Roasting marshmallows and making smores by the firepit in the evening while gazing at the star filled night sky. Come and enjoy the many trails, perennial gardens and beautiful natural Maine woods that Tsuga Island has to offer. The home comes complete with a large open first floor for entertaining with a wet bar, large screen tv with dvd player and direct tv services and plenty of board games. The kitchen is small but very functional with a large dining/gaming table. Upstairs all 3 bedrooms come with their own tvs with direct tv service. The home includes wifi access. Sebasticook Lake is one of the premier bodies of water in central Maine with over 4200 acres and depths up to 60 feet. Tsuga Island is just minutes to downtown Newport, town Boat Launch, Atv Trails, Interstate 95 and less than 45 minutes to Bangor International airport, Hollywood Slots Casino, shopping malls, restaurants, skiing, hiking, and the Maine Highlands. Centrally located for easy day trips to Acadia National park, Downeast Maine and so much more! The island features sandy, shallow beaches and trails along the western shore line, an abundance of birds and fish in their natural habitats for your enjoyment. The east side of the island borders a beautiful marsh of reeds, cattails and an incredible variety of birds. The cedar tree-lined edge with mossy rocks, ferns and boulders feels like stepping back in time. The north end is home to an evergreen forest. The entire island has mature Tsuga (Hemlock trees) and unique plants. Mushrooms and wildflowers bloom in abundance.
