The Porch House

A classic beach house updated without losing its soul. Two short blocks from the beach on New Orleans Street in the heart of Dewey Beach. The best features, in the owner's opinion, are the screened front porch and the kitchen. You get ocean and bay breezes...and the mosquitoes don't bother you while you're cocktailing. French doors open from the kitchen and dining areas onto the screened porch, thereby bringing the outdoors in. The kitchen is big and modern and fully equipped. Great for entertaining. This isn’t a rental full of cheap furnishings. The owner's philosophy is to provide a nice place and expect people to take care of it. This means no graduation parties. If you want to raise hell, go elsewhere. Please note: Owner doesn't provide bed sheets or bath towels for this rental. Each bed comes with a clean mattress pad, pillows and bedspread. Owner can provide info on how you can rent them and have them delivered. Please note: Check-in is 3pm and Check-out is 10am.
