Large Family Caboose - Sleep 6 inside of a real train car!

The epitome of value and unique accommodations, the large family caboose at the Red Caboose Motel offers you the ability to sleep up to 6 people inside of real railroad caboose that once rode the rails of the American Railroads. The Large Family Caboose has a double bed and two sets of bunk beds. While each room is appointed with varying floor plans and decor, each has a bathroom with shower (some include a tub, available by request), cable television, refrigerator and microwave. Heat and air conditioning are included so that you're comfortable no matter what time of year you visit. Conductors are on-duty daily 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. After hours there is always someone on-duty to assist you. The after hours number is listed on the telegram that you'll receive at check-in. The Cabooses hibernate Monday-Thursday in January and February (open weekends). Any messages left during that time will be returned Friday morning. The Red Caboose Motel is surrounded on all sides by thousands of acres of bucolic Amish Farmland. We're also neighbors to the Strasburg Rail Road - the oldest continuously operating short line steam railroad in the country. Leave the highway hotels at home and enjoy an experience unlike any other! The Red Caboose Motel provides everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
