The Desert Sunset Oasis is a large thoughtfully designed home for families and friends to gather and enjoy the surrounding Joshua Tree neighborhood. There is an indoor fireplace, hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, back patio and endless dark sky views Close to town, near art galleries, shopping, restaurants and the National Park. It is a mix of southwest, modern and rustic. Everything has been designed for comfort and ease. We welcome you and your family to come and relax at the Desert Sunset Oasis! Where to even begin with this sprawling 2257 st ft home with open floor plan and high ceilings?! THE INDOORS - 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths - Central heat and A/C plus an evaporative cooler (available seasonally), thermostat-controlled gas fireplace in the living room, and fans in various rooms. - Cable TV and wifi and the living room has a large-screen smart TV, DVD player, 200+ DVD collection, games, book collection, gas fireplace and French doors to the rear patio. - The dining room features seating for eight. - The kitchen contains a gas range, French door refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. It has a breakfast bar as well as breakfast table area looking out to the rear patio. - Additionally there is a charming half bath near the kitchen and living room THE BEDROOMS - The master bedroom has high ceilings, a queen bed, walk-in closet and French door to the rear patio near the hot tub. The master bath has a spacious walk-in shower with dual shower heads, large soaking tub and double sinks. - The second bedroom has a queen bed and window looking out to the courtyard lavender bed. - The third bedroom has a twin trundle bed setup and large built-in desk. - The guest bath is a jack-and-jill bath with double sinks and shower over tub. THE OUTSIDE - The rear patio has a dining table plus additional seating, hot tub, and BBQ. - The seating and hot tub areas are fully covered by an overhang with lights, fans and skylights. - The garage has two available parking spaces and a ping pong table for guests' enjoyment. - Additional parking is available on the large driveway. - Both front and back yards contain native high desert plants as well as a variety of trees. - The front yard has a private walled courtyard with gas firepit and garden planting. - Night landscape lighting is set to turn on and off automatically. • OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Professionally managed by Hi-Desert Dwellings • RENTAL AGREEMENT There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation • DEPOSIT We do not charge a security deposit. We welcome you and your guests to come to the property without an added security deposit or any extra holds of funds. You will not have to worry about any additional charges for accidental damages! • A/C The Desert Sunset Oasis is cooled by a brand new central air conditioner and separate evaporative cooler which is run by pumping water to the system. These are two separate units that work differently and cool the house differently. When using the evaporative cooler you will need to make sure to leave a window cracked in the rooms where you want to feel the cool air, having the window cracked will make pull the air through the house. With Central air, make sure the windows are closed to keep the cool air in the house. • GAMES We have provided a number of indoor games and outdoor activities for kids and adults alike. Be sure to keep all the pieces and parts together where they belong so everyone can continue to enjoy them. • PETS Pets off all kinds are NOT allowed. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. • IDENTITY VERIFICATION You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identiy and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used. By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above.
