Upstairs Barn Apartment in an Oak Forest

Camp Nieman is located on beautiful Lake Tawakoni in a hardwood forest, and our guests enjoy nature, fishing and boating, camping, campfire circle, and picnic area with a table and park grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and double sink with food disposer, utensils, dishes, soap, kitchen linens, blender, food processor, and a drip coffee maker with tea, ground coffee and sweeteners. The pantry has shelves where you can store any food you bring. Picnic Area: Adjacent to the park grill and picnic table, a small storage building holds everything you will need to cook out -- charcoal, lighter, lighter fluid, utensils, trash can, ash shovel and table coverings. A cigarette-butt can is located at the picnic table. Campfires: Wood is provided for fires in the campfire pit. Guest parking is next to the Barn. The stairs and deck/patio lead to the private apartment entrance. We live on the property and are available during your stay should you need assistance with anything in the apartment. We are located in a private neighborhood in southern Hunt County close to Quinlan and West Tawakoni, Texas, adjoining Lake Tawakoni. Due to the wooded setting, you will enjoy seeing wildlife up close. We built Camp Nieman with parking in mind. There's room for your boat, truck and/or car right near the Barn. Camp Nieman is in a wooded area where dangers such as wildlife, insects, burns, and falls, among others, exist. Therefore, you are expected to take precautions to prevent accidents, injuries or damage to you and your personal property. Camp Nieman strives to maintain a safe environment, but we are not responsible or liable for such dangers. The primary guest/payor must be 21 years old or older.
