Southern Dunes is only 20 minutes from Legoland, and less than 30 from Disney. All of the popular theme parks are a reasonable distance from our place including Universal, SeaWorld, and Bush Gardens. Most can be reached in well under an hour. Enjoy the fully screened-in pool area after a day at the theme parks, a round of golf, or anytime! Cool off in the summer with a quick dip, or enjoyed it heated during the winter months (optional heating available at additional cost). Our home has WIFI, flat screen TV's in every room, cable TV, and phone service with calling to the USA. The living room has a 55" flat screen smart TV and a DVD player with family oriented movies for your enjoyment. The villa is perfect for families. A high chair, and pack and play are available, if needed, for little ones. The kids will love the "Mickey room" with twin beds. There is a nice master bedroom, with a king size bed, 40" flat screen smart TV, and a full private bathroom. A third bedroom has a queen bed with a 32" flat screen smart TV. The beautiful kitchen, with granite counters and stainless appliances, provides the opportunity to "cook at home," if you would like. An open floor plan kitchen area is well stocked with basic cooking utensils, and has plenty of cups, plates, and dishes for dining. We just added a Keurig for those who need their cup of coffee in the morning! Just outside the gated community you will find a number of restaurants with a variety of dining options, if you prefer to eat out. You might check out the BBQ at Sonny's, take in breakfast at Denny's, or enjoy a meal at the popular Manny's restaurant just outside Southern Dunes. There are plenty of choices to make! Whether you are seeking the excitement of the theme parks, the night life in Orlando, or just long for a peaceful, restful, getaway in a delightful community, you will find it all within reach at our place. Linens are provided, along with bath towels, and pool towels. There is even a full size washer and dryer in the single car garage for your use. Special features in the Southern Dunes community include the 18-hole championship golf course, a private neighborhood park, tennis courts, community pools, preservation areas, and a landscaped lake. The beauty of it all is that, while being able to relax in a private home with a pool, in a beautiful community, you are only a short distance down I-4 from Disney's main gate and central Florida's many attractions. The best of both worlds! Looking for provisions? There is a Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, or Winn Dixie just outside the main entrance, and a Big Lots across the street. Just down the road at the intersection of I-4 there is a large shopping center with a Target, Ross, Dick's Sporting Goods, and many other stores. Eagle Ridge Mall is about 20 minutes south on Highway 27.
