Simple, bright, and clean upstairs apartment over RUBY cafe in downtown Stevens Point. Stunning river view, perfect private back deck, and just steps from the Wisconsin River, the Green Circle walking/biking trail and Main Street. As urban a vibe as you can get in Stevens Point. This bright 2-bedroom apartment is simple and uncluttered, but has all the basics. One room has a queen bed; the other has 2 twins. Each room has a large closet. Bathroom is shower over tub, two sinks and a long counter space, stocked with basics. Kitchen is moderately stocked: basic appliances - fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster. As well as silverware, cutlery, cutting board, cookware and utensils. Laundry closet has washer and dryer and is stocked with some basic cleaning supplies. Living room has a sofa and a few chairs. There is an electric fireplace and a little reading nook next to a window overlooking Third Street. The apartment is upstairs and there is no elevator. Some things to be aware of: The cafe downstairs opens at 7am and staff is in there setting up starting at 6am. It's not terribly loud, but it is audible. The cafe plays music and you can hear it. There is a restaurant next door that stays open until 10pm-ish and you can hear their customers, music, clean up, etc. Again not terribly loud, but it is audible. Street lights are bright at night, but all windows have shades. It is located downtown, so expect some downtown-y nighttime noises. It's Stevens Point though, and not San Francisco, so again, its not bad. The apartment is kid friendly but there is nothing blocking the entry stairs, so for toddlers you may want to block them off with a chair or something. The apartment also has a TV with a Roku that you can login to your Netflix acct, etc. You'll have access to the entire 2 bedroom apartment. There is a front door with a keypad (code is messaged to you prior to check-in) as well as a back door. The back door exits into a small hallway with direct access to the cafe downstairs during business hours, otherwise there is a handicap access entrance/exit door. The handicap access door is unlocked during business hours and locked after hours. The only access after hours is the front door. No one lives in the building. The cafe downstairs is open Tuesday & Wednesday, 7a - 1p and Thursday through Sunday, 7a - 3p. If there is a problem or guests have a question, someone on the cafe staff can help. Otherwise, hosts are available via phone, text, or Airbnb message. We all love Stevens Point and are happy to guide guests toward a good time. Downtown Stevens Point is a great place to be. It's like "downtown lite". Lots of shops, bars, and cafes, but generally most businesses close pretty early so its not a loud, bustling night time place. It's very safe. We are located a block off of Main Street on the Clark Street Corridor. RUBY, downstairs, is a great specialty coffee cafe with an all-day menu focused on local and organic food. Neighboring businesses include: Father Fats and Chef's Kitchen, two great restaurants Assembly, a beautiful women's clothing boutique Galaxy Hobby, games, comic books and a cafe with lunch Diversi-Tea, teas, oils, vinegars and more. Main Street offers many more shops, cafes, and bars. We are right on the Wisconsin River and the Green Circle Trail. Driving here is easy and traffic is a breeze. There is no overnight street parking without a fee. There is paid overnight parking available in the lot just next to our building, pay online using directions in the welcome message. It’s $3.25/night. You can find out more about Stevens Point public transit here: (Website hidden by Airbnb) Across the street is the Green Circle Trail - a 27-mile scenic hiking and biking trail that loops through the Stevens Point area and connects with over 45 miles of additional trails.
