Combining a main house with a pristine cottage, this property boasts an airy ambiance, ample natural light, and all of the comforts of home, ensuring that no one will have any trouble kicking back and slipping into total relaxation. Start each day with your morning coffee out on the furnished decks or at the dock as Dickinson Bayou flows gently by. The entire property is fenced, and you'll have no neighbors during your stay. When the temperature rises, sweet relief can be found in your private pool with plenty of room to suntan between refreshing dips. After full days of fun, enjoy two full kitchens with the equipment you need to prepare meals for the whole gang. Not to mention the free WiFi and large flatscreen TVs that allow everyone to get online or enjoy favorite movies or TV shows. When it's time to turn in for the night, you and your guests will have seven fantastic bedrooms to choose from - three in the cottage and four in the main house. What's nearby: Dickinson Bayou is in a fantastic location, due to it being roughly midway between Houston and Galveston! Some must-see attractions include Moody Gardens, the Strand Historic District, and the Pleasure Pier with a location close to the Kemah Boardwalk and Downtown Aquarium. Houston offers attractions including NASA, the Houston Zoo, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and the Museum of Arts. There is a public boat launch close by for the ability to enjoy boating, fishing, jet skiing, wakeboarding, and more. Don’t miss out on visiting the family restaurant, TJ Reeds/Flippers in Dickinson, the Mosquito Café in Galveston. Topwater Grill and Pier 6 Seafood in San Leon, TX on the bay is also a great stop. Parking notes: There is parking in the driveway and inside the gate. Once you arrive at the property, you will have to enter the home and open the gate manually to access. This property is shared with the main house, please utilize the interior parking for overflow directly near the cottage and do not expand to the main house parking area. The parking facility is monitored by security cameras and any parking that exceeds four vehicles during your stay will notify the Local Operations Manager as Occupancy overage. Any overage of occupancy will be terms for immediate eviction. Please contact your Local Operations Manager prior to stay to discuss any visitors that would result in this during the day, all visitors must vacate the premises no later than 7pm. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
