Home is furnished with original antiques and paintings from the era. It is located on a quiet tree lined street, walking distance from Kit Carson Park, historic Taos Plaza, and many galleries and restaurants. The large, shady front porch is perfect for an outdoor meal, and the Pueblo of Taos, oldest inhabited village in North America, is less than two miles away. The world class ski resort of Taos Ski Valley is a twenty minute drive north, and the spectacular Rio Grande Gorge, with whitewater rafting, fly-fishing and hot springs, is even closer. Come immerse yourself in the real Taos, with it's amazing natural beauty and it's unique cultural influence, unlike anywhere in the USA. The larger side has two bedrooms and a day bed in the living room, and one twin in its own cubby, and one full bath. Sleeps five guests maximum. Prices listed are for the larger side of the duplex. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed, and two twin beds. It sleeps four comfortably. For larger parties of up to nine the entire home can be rented. Please take note, this house has a unique architecture which includes steps and low doorways in a couple of areas. There is signage to warn of this, but tall people must use caution.
