Private wing at historic water view Walnut Grove

Enjoy your stay in the private guest wing of the historic Walnut Grove farmhouse with separate heating and cooling. Wildlife, chickens, rooster and pets in our little farm. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets viewed from the property or the dock across the street. Long term stays welcome. Two hospitals located within 7 miles. 12 miles to Baltimore and 5 miles from 95. Local dining, shopping, parks, and golf course. Non-smoker only.No smoking or vaping anywhere . The Nautical Room is the original wing on the 1860's Gothic Revival farmhouse which has a view of rose garden with a private entrance separated from the main house. This room has a queen bed with pillow top mattress, 2 night stands, dresser, microwave , mini-fridge with separate freezer, small toaster and 4 cup coffee maker (perfect for making breakfast), bathroom (with 5' spa tub and 2 shower heads) 36” vanity and towel storage, table and 2 chairs, and cozy arm chair and smart TV. Extra blanket in TV cabinet. Enjoy the use of our lawn and gardens with a private table and chair outside just for you. Walk over to the community water front just across the street from the house and enjoy the sunset. Community area closes at dusk. Park outside the room on the bricks. See pictures or message us if you have any questions . You are welcome to bring your fishing pole or kayak. No swimming here. Rocky point park has swimming and boat launch and golf course in Essex(5 miles from the house). Bring your own beach towels . Nothing is to be used outside of the room. Smoking and vaping of any type and any illegal substance is NOT allowed in the room or on the property or you will be charged $250. Early check in may be available for $40. Only guests with reservations are allow (no other visitors). No pets. Extra cleaning fee for stains/blood on towels and bedding of $50. You have use of the wing and yard and the community waterfront is located directly across from the house. The bald eagles are generally in the sycamore tree in the morning at sunrise or sunset. Fishing requires a MD DNR fishing license. We live in the house so were are generally available to lend assistance if needed, but with the keypad entry, you don't even need to check in with us. Community boat ramp across from the house
