Located in sleepy Westbrook, Ct and across the street from Long Island Sound, this beach house is spacious with a full kitchen, dining, and living room. A back yard area for children to play and parents to barbeque is included with a fire pit and a serene view of a marsh with nesting Osprey. There is a outdoor shower with both cold and hot water to wash the sand off from the beach. Little Stannard Beach (100 yards away) is beautiful and private for only the immediate neighborhood. Great sandbars and, at low tide, a walk to explore Salt Island is available. Many great restaurants and summer activities are nearby, including Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport, The Essex Steam Train, a bird sanctuary, and the Westbrook and Clinton outlet malls. Little Stannard Beach borders The Water's Edge Resort and Spa's Beach. Many of our renters come back year after year. Read their reviews.
