Given the current state of the world, coming out to our ranch will be perfect for you and your loved ones to have lots of space and get outdoors! This home is spacious along with the 10 acres it sits on. Work from home with our WIFI and great views. Rest assured of our Enhanced Cleaning Protocol to keep you and your family safe! Our cabin is on a beautiful 10 acre ranch used to spend some time away from the city and indulge in a relaxing time. Our property is also less than a mile away from the entrance of Lake Ray Roberts, Isle Du Bois entrance where there is so much to do; more on this below. This is a working ranch therefore you might find one of our workers feeding, watering, bathing, or brushing the animals, watering the plants, grass or trimming bushes or trees or other job duties. Indoor Amenities Include: -Pet friendly home *Pet must be included as an additional guest in the reservation -Walk In Shower -Washing & drying machine (please bring your own soap & dryer sheets) -Full kitchen -Large family sized wooden top dining table -Plates, bowls, cups and silverware -Cooking pans and pots -55” HD Flat screen TV with Netflix -WIFI (Please be advised that wifi out in the country is not super fast and sometimes has connection issues.) Sitting on a 10 acre working ranch, don’t be surprised if you wake up in the morning to some horses in the nearby pasture. Light the outdoor fire pit to roast some s’mores and take advantage of the private outdoor patio. Choose to eat on the large wooden dining table or dine out on our outdoor family style picnic table. But don’t worry you will still have your privacy! Lake Ray Roberts Isle Du Bois entrance is just 0.7 miles away from our property! Be advised that parks have reduced their capacity at this time. We strongly encourage making day pass and camping reservations before you visit. Reserve them online or by calling 512_389_8900. Lake Ray Roberts things to do: On land, you can camp, hike, bike, ride your horse, rollerblade, geocache or go backpacking. On the water, you can swim at one of the beach areas (no lifeguards on duty), paddle, or wet a hook in the kids’ fishing pond or the lake. Or enjoy quieter pursuits: photography, nature watching, or simply relaxing! At the marina you can rent boats, fuel, boat slips, jet skis, and kayaks. Fish the 29,000-acre Ray Roberts Lake. Anglers catch largemouth bass, crappie, white bass and catfish here. The current lake record for largemouth bass is 14.07 pounds. The park has boat ramps, a marina, a fishing pier and fish cleaning stations. Remember, you can fish from the shore or a pier in a state park without a fishing license!
