The Ferg Loft - Steps to Main St Picton - Sleeps 2 Adults and 2 Children

The Ferg is a gorgeous Scandinavian-inspired modern farmhouse originally built in the 1840's and located in the heart of Prince Edward County's wine country. Lovingly restored, this quiet retreat is a half a block from the bustling farm-to-table cafés and restaurants lining the Main Street of Picton. The property boasts three separate suites and is a short drive from the white sandy beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park and a multitude of vineyards. This Loft has one king bedroom and is entirely self-contained, with a sleeper sofa in the living room that can accommodate two children under 10. It boasts a fully equipped chef's kitchen and wine fridge, dining room, living room with a queen sofa bed, private deck, bbq, clawfoot tub, shower and gas fireplace. Amenities include organic toiletries, organic coffee and tea, fresh linens, beach towels, a private porch and BBQ, year round heating and cooling and a shared heritage garden including hammock and large, free parking area. The Ferg was named by Canadian Living as one of the top 3 uniquely decorated hotels in Canada. The property has also been featured on HGTV, Toronto Life, and the show Handmade Hotels. The location is fantastic - so close to all the downtown shops and restaurants, and yet on a quiet street. Would highly recommend a stay at The Loft. The neighbourhood is quiet and inviting. We loved the minimalist yet warm design of the space. The king bed was so comfortable! The kitchen had everything you would need. We really appreciated the yoga mats. The grounds were lovely, and the hammock was such a nice touch. The location was ideal for exploring Picton on foot with all its cute shops and cafes, as well as nearby Wellington and Bloomfield where we dined really well. The bed was very comfortable and it had all of the amenities we needed. The house is very close (walking distance) to the best restaurants in Picton and also close to a grocery and drug store. The Ferg is close to tons of great restaurants, in a beautiful historic neighborhood, and has all the amenities we were looking for. Definitely looking at booking another getaway sooner rather than later. The place was spotless, the bed was beyond comfy, and everything was exactly as the pictures depicted (it was actually a lot more stunning in person if that's even possible) If you are looking for a great place to stay in the county, look no further!
