Large (1,000sf) and sunny 1-bedroom private house in downtown Nevada City. Home is nestled in a charming Victorian neighborhood. Private, yet mere minutes to local restaurants, shops and parks. Reverse-style living includes entry, bathroom and bedroom at entry level and kitchen, dining area and living room on 2nd floor overlooking beautiful surrounding grounds (must be able to climb stairs). Home includes a sunny living area with a couch, cozy woodstove, desk, table with room for 4, and a simple, but spacious kitchen (full fridge, stove, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee press with Pete's whole coffee beans PLUS Keurig K-Cups) with all the necessities for preparing meals. A 2nd story balcony with gorgeous views is just off the living area (views of Pioneer Park). A separate king bedroom has access to a covered porch. Bed has down comforter. Bathroom is located downstairs close to bedroom/entry and has a shower stall only. There are two fold out futon pads for extra guests. • Complimentary coffee (Keurig K-Cups PLUS Coffee Press) & tea • Toaster, fridge, full stove/oven, blender, microwave, dishes, and basic cooking supplies. • Bose Bluetooth speaker for your music pleasure! • Flat screen TV, Comcast Cable • Iron & ironing board • Hair dryer • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash • Egyptian cotton towels • Wireless internet • Day bed located in the living room with twin memory foam mattress PLUS trundle with additional twin memory foam mattress. • King Bed with 100% cotton sheets and down comforter. This is a STRICT non smoking home - inside or outside The home is no pets. Guest access The house has its own covered front porch, private balcony off of living room with views and covered porch off of bedroom. There is off-street parking for one car. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: We do provide an off-street parking space for one vehicle, but it is tricky to maneuver in and out of. There is plenty of street parking spaces available as well. Please do not give us a bad review for the tricky parking spot and be grateful to park off the street! ;) For the best heat, please purchase wood at SPD and have a cozy fire. There is an electric unit as well as space heaters. Please DO NOT use the swamp cooler next to the living room TV. Is is not functional. Please use the window AC unit in the kitchen. It cools the home off nicely. This house is connected to a garage. You may hear the garage door open and close from time to time inside the house but it will always be during awake hours (7am to 9pm). The City of Nevada City requires us to collect a 10% hotel tax. There is a receptacle inside the unit upstairs on the bookshelf next to the desk to pay this upon your departure. Cash is preferred.
