This charming little historical home is perfect for your next getaway, or home away from home. The Casita is furnished and has most essentials, and it is right in the middle of town. A short walk to downtown shops and dining, and less than 30 min drive to the beautiful Nueces or Frio River. Uvalde is great, as it appeals to all bird lovers, river goers, photographers, hunters, fisherman,you name it. Small house trained dogs with $40 pet cleaning fee to be left on site per stay. Only an hour from San Antonio in one direction, Del Rio the other, and Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass is less than an hour drive. Only 1/2 an hour drive to Con Can or Chalk Bluff for river fun. My guests get the entire home, two bedrooms one bath, full kitchen, dining and living room with fenced in front and backyard. I am available to give information on places of interest as well as directions, catering and hostessing available for additional fee. Quiet little street one block from downtown Uvalde, perfect location for local shopping for clothing, antiques, art, furniture and souvenirs. Also, plenty of great hometown dining right down the street. The home has plenty of parking on premises, and larger vehicles can park close by. Fun fact: The Casita is almost 120 years old. As With most historic homes, the Casita is full of character and charm. It still has most of the original hardwood floors, and is built to last.
