The professionally landscaped garden has a fish pond, several terraces, magnificent large trees and a large porch (enclosed in winter) all for your pleasure and use. Public tennis & golf are near by and ready. The farm setting is relaxing and rejuvenating. This Hudson Valley village is perfect for bike rides and walks. The large open two story living room is filled with art and modern furniture and flooded with light. The en-suite bedroom has a new deluxe queen size mattress and is filled with original art. The second bedroom is an open loft upstairs with a great new queen size bed. The Garden, has huge maple trees and always something blooming June to September. Antique, Art galleries, Bike, ski, or drop your Kayak in the Hudson River. The area is welcoming and historic and perfect for wedding weekends I invite my guests to fully utilize the house, the front porch, and the gardens. Take a bike ride or walk down to the Hudson River and visit interesting antique and farm shops. I am often working in my studio adjacent to the house. I do reserve for myself the 24 hr use of my studio adjacent to the cottage, but don’t let this encumber your use of the garden in any way. It is always a delight to meet my guests or visit over a glass of wine. I do use the house when not rented, so my personal things are around, but there is plenty of space for food and weekend clothes. I prefer my guests to feel they are our personal house guests, not hotel guests. The covered porch and the garden is a great part of the house for relaxing and dinning in the summer. You have full use of gardens. Myself or a gardener may be working in the garden. Also there are now chickens on the property, mostly in coop but not always. Good skiing is near by in winter. Biking or Kayaking on Hudson River in summer. Antiques and Art and good food are in Valatia, Kinderhook, and Hudson. My primary goal is your relaxation.
