Steamboat Landing Cottage

Steamboat Landing is a charming two-bedroom cottage sitting directly on Mackerel Cove. Wake up to the sea salt air. Enjoy a meal from the large deck that sits right over the water while watching the lobster boats return from getting their daily catch. Bring a boat and utilize the mooring available or rent kayaks and explore the waters right from the dock. In the evenings enjoy the sunsets from the deck or inside through the bay window as they create a magical colorful sky. The downstairs of Steamboat Landing has an open living room and dining room. This room has two walls of windows to enjoy breathtaking views. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a nice meal and has an additional table for your needs. From the kitchen, you can walk directly out to the large deck that sits right over the water. There is also a full bathroom with a stand-up shower on the first floor. Upstairs you will find a large master bedroom with a king bed, a lovely sitting area, and wonderful views. There is an additional bedroom with two twin beds.This cottage is freshly painted, clean, and has hardwood floors throughout. All windows have darkening shades if the summer sun gets too bright. The upstairs bedrooms also have additional curtains to block out the morning sun if wanted. Centrally located on Bailey Island with a fantastic location for walking to several points along the Island.   The third bedroom is located in a building just across from the cottages front door: This room offers a queen-size bed, a small sitting area, and a lovely deck. It is available to rent for the week for an additional $250. There is no bathroom in that bedroom, however, it is located just steps from the main house.
