Lovely, fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment with historic charm. Refinished hardwood floors and tons of natural light make this space beautiful and welcoming. Located the in the heart of small town Saint Albans, you’re just blocks away from dining options, library, coffee shop, and parks. Flat sidewalks make the neighborhood perfect for walking or running. Continental breakfast items provided for guests. Hot breakfast offered on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) upon request with 24 hour notice. Fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment above a 3-car garage. Completely private with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Bedroom 1 has a double bed while bedroom 2 boasts a lovely queen sized bed. A pack and play or air mattress can be requested to sleep additional guests. Guests have access to parking behind the garage (in a safe alley way) as well as use of the patio area and fire pit (weather permitting). Laundry facility is located inside the private apartment for guest use. While I love meeting new people and sharing my favorite spots in town with my guests, I understand that some people will prefer their privacy. I’ll interact with guests as much or as little as they like as my schedule allows. Central location in Saint Albans close to amenities: Grocery store (Kroger) Coffee shop (Coal River Coffee Co.) Library Gas stations (Go-Mart) Laundry Mat Bank (BB&T, City National) Restaurants (Local: Angela’s on the River, Shucker’s, River’s Edge Cafe, Dwight’s, Cozumel // Chain: Marco’s Pizza, Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Wendy’s) Convenient to Coal River and Kanawha River boat access ramp. Fitness facility (Anytime Fitness) Nail Salon Parks (Roadside Park—playground and picnic shelters, SA City Park—playgrounds, disc golf course, hiking trails). Just minutes from Charleston which boasts tons of restaurants and other attractions. Parking for your own vehicle is available on site. The neighborhood is great for biking and walking to various amenities. The bus station (Kanawha Regional Transport) is within walking distance (2.5 blocks). There are stairs leading up to the entrance of the apartment. Please be cautious and use handrails when climbing up or down the stairs. I have a dog (Charlie) who lives on the property (my home is in front of the separate apartment). He is friendly and will not be in your space at all. However, you might see him when I bring him out back for potty-breaks or to go on our evening walks.
