Longacre - Maple Room Suite with Sofa Bed

A very fun and spacious room with a Queen bed and Queen Sofa Bed. Bathroom has a jacuzzi tub with hand held shower handle. Limited open closet, drawer space available. Floor fan, TV, Bathrobes and Linen provided. Round/Circular staircase is only access. Located on Second Floor. This room is only room we allow pets in. Door to back yard located at bottom of staircase for easy pet relief. Longacre is a non-traditional bed and breakfast. Our innkeeper lives on property but we allow for our guests their privacy and self check in and check out. We are available if needed. Check in documents are left at the front door upon arrival. We appreciate notice of arrival time when possible. Appomattox is a small but huge historic township. Where Lee surrendered to Grant and ended the Civil War, Appomattox offers a walk through history of the Confederate armies path to surrender. Multiple museums and the surrender grounds are open year round. Our little downtown has quaint shops for gifts and antiques. You can easily drive a short distance to many other historic sites near Appomattox. There are several small restaurants in the Appomattox town and multiple fast food options. Large grocery store and many service station food options - the best Fried Chicken is at Quickie station just off Confederate blvd. Lynchburg is loaded with chain restaurants you may be familiar with and is a short 20 minute drive.
