At the top of the Shawnee Wine Trail, amidst the Shawnee National Forest, and tucked away in the country, is your next comfortable get-away from home. Located off the scenic highway, South 127, our newly renovated house atop Hillbilly Hill Trail, has everything you and up to 9 others would need in a guest home. Relax at the fire-pit in the private back yard with an uninhibited view of the sky, pasture, and private lake. Just pack a bag of clothes, your favorite food and drink, and come on over! Hilltop Retreat This house provides everything 1 person or 10 people would need for a get-away from home. This vacation home has 3 bedrooms, each equipped with a queen bed and full closet, 2 full bathrooms, 2 separate living rooms each with their own large, flat-screen TV, a futon and sectional couch, a large kitchen that is stocked with all the utensils you should need to cook or grill, 2 spacious porches, and a 2-car garage. For parties of 8 or more people, a full-size air mattress will also be provided. Wi-Fi is not available at this home at this time. However, Dish Network, local channels, and DVD's are provided for your enjoyment. Mobile hotspots can be used at this location for use on laptops and for logging into the Smart TV's for your Netflix/Prime accounts. With South Highway 127 less than one mile to the east of this home, and Hickory Ridge Road less than one mile to the west, you are at the ideal location to see it all. Within 10 miles, numerous hiking trails, cliffs, and waterfalls can be found that change with every season. Being at the top of the wine trail, four wineries are located within this short distance, as well as a variety of unique and tasty restaurants, and so much more. BBQ and Beer fan? Visit Murphysboro!
