What's nearby: A little over a mile west, head out on the popular Cushman Trail, a six mile, paved, non-motorized route for walking and biking. This vacation rental sits a little less than three miles north of downtown Gig Harbor, which is home to charming shops, wonderful restaurants (including the highly-recommended Tides Tavern for great food and drinks), and kayak rentals. You'll have easy access to Highway 16, Port Orchard and the Southworth Ferry Terminal (with boats to Vashon Island and West Seattle) are both less than 16 miles away, and Bremerton is about 25 miles north. For great day trips, Port Townsend and the wilds of the Olympic National Forests are both less than 70 miles from your door. And if you're needing to hit the beach, Lighthouse Beach and Sunrise Beach are both just a short drive or bike ride away.
