Explore the surrounding wine country, visit Wildflowers Seed Farm, and take in the area's parks: Enchanted Rock, LBJ, Old Tunnel, and National Monument. Take a day trip to Fredericksburg for shopping and dining, as well as a visit to Nimitz Museum and Hamilton Pool. Lady Bird Johnson, Pedernales Falls, and Blanco River State Parks are excellent ways to witness the natural beauty of Fredericksburg. Other possibilities for day-long excursions include Kerrville (40 miles), Marble Falls (44 miles), Austin (74 miles), and San Antonio (85 miles). The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is a covered dog run in the barn that can accommodate one vehicle. There is a driveway entrance off North Grape Creek Road that leads to a small parking area off the side yard near the main, side entrance of the house. This area can accommodate 6 to 7 vehicles. Additional vehicles can be parked along the drive near this parking area. Please take caution not to park on, or drive over, the septic drain field piping running along the west side of the drive from the side yard to near the drive entry. If you stay off and don't drive on the grass, this shouldn't be an issue. Thank you.
