Cozy Mountain Getaway at Bolton Valley

Cozy, newly renovated, private apartment is conveniently located within walking distance to alpine, nordic, and backcountry skiing at Bolton Valley. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, oversized California king bed, and private deck after a day on the mountain. The workstation and high-speed internet gives you the freedom to work remotely during the day and ski at night. This apartment is filled with natural light, plants, and will give you a feeling of warmth and comfort. The butcher block counter tops, 4 burner stove, wine cooler, and full size fridge provide the amenities needed to extend your stay. When it's nice outside you can relax on the deck to enjoy a beautiful sunset in the oversized Adirondack Chairs. If you love the outdoors you couldn't ask for a better location. With an amazing network of trails, rivers, and lakes you can take full advantage of summers in Bolton! Spend your days hiking, mt. biking, cycling, trail running, paddling, lazy river tubing, golfing, or hang out at some local swimming holes, breweries, distilleries, and a great selection of local restaurants. You can find a list of recommendations in the apartment, but I would be more than happy to provide additional options. We stock up on some of the essentials to get your day going. Check out what is always in stock for our guests: Kitchen Supplies: Coffee maker, pots & pans, cutting boards, blender, hot water kettle, panini press, mixing bowls, Tupperware, waffle maker, measure cups, wine cooler, and all necessary utensils. Kitchen essentials: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar & sweeteners, creamer, vegetable oil, pancake mix, and salt & pepper. Bathroom: Hair dryer, Q-Tips, cotton balls, floss, towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Living Room: 40 inch TV & plenty of games to keep you entertained. We also provide access to Netflix and if that is not enough you can easily log into any of your favorite apps on the Samsung Smart TV. If you need some music just yell at our (Hidden by Airbnb) robot to play some music by saying "Hey (Hidden by Airbnb) , Play..." Work Station: Curved monitor with HDMI hook up. Fast wifi with download speeds of 56 MBPS & upload speeds of 24 MBPS. This is plenty to support streaming & remote work. Outdoors: Off the kitchen is your own private deck that is equipped with two oversized Adirondack chairs, a table that converts to a propane fire pit, and a BBQ grill. This is a private property located less than a quarter mile from the Bolton Valley ski resort parking lot. Waterbury and Richmond towns are each within a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) drive where you can stock up on groceries and gas or visit local breweries, bakeries, restaurants, and cafes. In the summer/warmer months be sure to check out the nearby swimming holes, canoeing, mountain biking, and hiking. Parking is available on site for one vehicle. Details will be provided prior to arrival. Please note a couple items: Stairs are required to access this unit. This apartment is located within walking distance of the base lodge of Bolton Valley Ski Resort. To get to the apartment you will need to drive up a 3.5 mile steep, but very well maintained access road. The road is paved, but we highly recommend that you have snow tires during the winter months. We sometimes enjoy staying here with our dog, so if you are highly allergic to pet hair I would not recommend. This rental comes with 1 dedicated parking spot, but additional parking is available at the resort which is about a 5 minute walk away. This apartment is part of 3 other units in the building and is below an occupied 2 bedroom apartment. Everyone is very friendly and live here year round. Note that because the unit is below a 2 bedroom unit you may notice foot prints carry through the floor. It's subtle and this seems to be the only noise that carries through. Please be aware of current COVID protocols by visiting the VT Dept. of Health website. Some protocols may directly affect the day to day operations at Bolton Valley resort. Also, be sure to check in with Bolton Valley for up to date information on restrictions and operating information.
