C0091661320 Comfortable cottage at Ashmere Lake in the Berkshires. Lake view. Come enjoy swimming and kayaking on the beautiful lake. Or attend the concerts, dance and theatre at Tanglewood and Jacobs Ladder. Gorgeous rural area not far from a city with lots of restaurants and historic spots. The house is directly across the street from the lake and has a lake view. We are building a deck on the front of the house for outside living and to enjoy the view. The house has wifi, cable and tv's in the living room and master bedroom. Guest have access to the entire house, a large yard and the beach area that is directly across the street. There are 2 kayaks and life vests available for those who sign a release. The neighborhood is made up of a small group of family owned homes. Many are summer homes only. The quaint heart of Hinsdale is only about a mile up the road and has a wonderful restaurant that serves a fantastic food. You will be within a half hour drive of fabulous shopping, food and entertainment in Lenox, Stockbridge, Pittsfield and other smaller towns. The Berkshires are a wonderful destination site, particularly in the summer and fall. Swimming, kayaking, boating, hiking and biking are some of the fun ways to spend your time. Just enjoy the fall colors, drive to Vermont or go to one of the many festivals.
