Fish off the dock, play in the sand, hang by the fire, have some fun in the game room, take walks, bike or just relax. Shell Lake has very good clarity. Wonderful to swim in. We have a large sandy beach and as you walk into the water its gradual and does not get deep until past our dock. At the end of our dock, the water is about waist high or so. The town of Shell Lake is a few miles away, across the lake from the cabin. The area around the cabin is very wooded and East Lake Drive is great to take walks around the area or bike, ATV etc.. Located within blocks of the Wisconsin ATV/Snowmobile trails of the Indianhead region of northern Washburn County. Shell Lake is known for Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike and Muskie fishing. Shell Lake is a 2-hour scenic drive from the northeast side of the Twin Cities. We have a set of ordinances for all renters of our cabin from the City of Shell Lake: no fireworks, no tents/trailers/campers on property, no launching boats off the private beach (use public boat launch in Shell Lake only), no driving ATV's on cabin beach & cabin lawn, quiet time outside on beach and on all outside decking is 10pm, no more than 4 motorized vehicles are allowed to park on the premises at any time, the maximum # of occupants is 8 - 10. Max of 8 adults, will allow 10 when it's 8 adults & 2 children. Payment online only thru Vrbo.
