Summary: All Frontdesk stays are contactless self-check-in and include Scout, our exclusive digital companion to guide you through everything you'll need before and during your time with us. We're also available 24/7 via text or phone and have a local team should you need anything. Guests are required to follow all regional and building-specific COVID-19 policies. We continue to employ a professional cleaning staff adhering to OSHA and CDC guidelines to make sure your stay is clean and comfortable. The Space: Our studio suite is furnished with a queen bed, a couch, and an air mattress. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The kitchen is stocked with cookware to cook simple meals, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. Its open layout, large windows allowing for a lot of natural sunlight, and tall ceilings help make your stay comfortable. Relax or get a breath of fresh air from the balcony. Metered street parking may be available nearby, as well as a paid parking garage located across the street. During your stay, please keep in mind that our suites are smoke-free environments. Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. While traditional cable TV is not included in your stay, we do provide Roku TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to use these services with your own login and enjoy! Guest Access: You can access the building anytime after 3pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion. The Neighborhood: You couldn’t ask to be in a better location! No matter what direction you go or what your interests are, you’ll find yourself surrounded by excitement and adventure. There are endless options for delicious dining and trendy bars, along with parks and attractions. You're just a block from the Riverwalk trails, steps from the farmer's market, Civic Center, Principal Park, Hy-Vee grocery store, and multiple dining, and craft breweries. The Wells Fargo Arena is just a 10-minute walk. Getting Around: Des Moines is known to be one of the easiest and fastest places to get around! The downtown trolley offers free rides during the weekdays and passes popular attractions throughout the city. The D-Line runs a free loop every 10 minutes, taking visitors and locals from the East Village to the Western Gateway. Feel like going for a walk? Downtown offers 4 miles of climate-controlled skywalks, that can take you from restaurants, to meeting spots, to local coffee shops. The Des Moines Regional Transit (DART) provides bus services throughout the metro area. Due to the popularity of the city, Uber and Lyft are also easily accessible. Other Things to Note: Please note there are freight trains that do run throughout the day/night. Please ensure you are booking with your full legal name. We have a strict 11am checkout. If you'd like to pay to check out later, the latest we can do is 1pm, at $25 per hour. Please let us know one day in advance if this is something you'd like to schedule! At Frontdesk, a core value is to be a good neighbor. We extend this 5-star experience to you, our guests, as well as our property partners. This means we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. To ensure this in the most comfortable and least intrusive way possible, we use a noise sensor to detect the noise level inside of the suite. The number of people inside the suite may not exceed the reserved guest amount at any time. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. If removal is required, it will be done at the guest's expense.
