The house sleeps 10+ - perfect for two families or a group of friends. Reclaimed barn wood floors, 2 fireplaces, lots of games and puzzles, down comforters on all beds, high-speed wifi, DirecTV, Sonos music system, use of kayaks, canoe, 2 SUPs, fishing poles - everything you need to enjoy a peaceful and fun getaway in the mountains! Come unwind in the Allegheny Mountains at beautiful Woodhaven! Open floor plan with plenty of space to spread out. Big kitchen with all new appliances and an island that seats 4. Fully stocked with all you'll need to cook up a big gourmet dinner for friends and family after a day of hiking, kayaking, skiing or just sitting by the fire reading a book. Our large cozy home has 3 queen bedrooms on the ground floor and a loft with 4 twin beds. There is a pull out couch and 2 air mattresses for additional guests. Guests have access to all resort amenities on the property, including an 18-hole golf course, mini golf, beach, hiking trails, basketball and tennis courts, playground, boat house, fishing, kayaking, indoor pool, fitness center, lodge with dining room and lounge, and in the winter, cross country ski trails and sledding. The house has a fire pit to gather around for s'mores making, and a big front porch for sitting with a book or a drink while watching the wildlife. Enjoy all there is to offer in our four season mountain getaway! Feel free to call any time if you need assistance in the home or have questions! Our house is located at Alpine Lake Resort in Terra Alta, WV. At nearly 3,000 feet above sea level, summer days are warm and nights are cool. No AC needed (although we have an A/C unit for the 2nd floor loft). And in the winter there's usually plenty of snow. The lake does not allow motorized boats so it is peaceful and serene. With no ambient light you'll be able to stargaze at night! It is just 30 minutes from Deep Creek Lake where you’ll find four seasons of fun! Rent a pontoon boat or jet skis. Take the kids to the ropes course, zip line and mountain coaster. Get some thrills at the world’s only mountain top white water rafting course, Adventure Sport Center International, or spend the day at Wisp Ski Resort tubing or skiing.
