Grand Marsh Getaway is the perfect vacation destination for the entire family and offers something for everyone to enjoy. From the beautiful sunrise over the Fox River, great hunting, fishing, and wildlife, and direct water access to enjoy boating and leisure water activities. Located directly on the Fox River which flows into Lake Puckaway there is lots to do on the water. Enjoy great fishing (Northern, Pike, Walleye, Bass, and pan fish) and hunting waterfowl. Take a boat ride and visit any (or all) of the five restaurants and taverns via the water. If you don’t have a boat no problem. Johnson’s Boats & Motors in Montello rents and delivers them. Or rent a kayak, canoe, or tube from Rendezvous in Montello. Driveway entrance is shared with neighbors. Please allow plenty of space when parking. We live nearby and can be onsite if necessary. Grand Marsh Getaway is located on a dead end gravel road, so don’t worry about too much traffic. Most of the vehicles are golf carts, as it is located near and within walking distance from J&J River’s Bend campground and resort (.4miles). Montello is a great area to visit and make memories. Take a hike at Observatory Hill and enjoy the amazing view, enjoy a nature’s walk or hunting at multiple state wildlife areas. Take in the beautiful granite falls at Daggett Park or visit the historic Montello Movie Theater. Enjoy two local golf courses, Sondalles White Lake or Thal Acres. If you want to venture a little further, it’s only 45 minutes from Madison and Wisconsin Dells.
