Serenity Lodge on The River

Nestled on the South Holston River, Serenity Lodge is a pet-free home and offers a peaceful retreat for a family getaway or a long weekend away for the guys or the gals. The house sits up on a hill, overlooking the river. Whether you visit our lodge for a fishing getaway, a NASCAR weekend or something else, we work hard to make sure your stay is amazing. We can't wait to meet you! We are conveniently located for easy access to all of the Tri-Cities (Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City) and Bristol, Virginia. Within minutes from the lodge: 2.2 miles to Big Springs TWRA Public Access Boat Ramp 7.7 miles to Bristol Motor Speedway 9.6 miles to South Holston Dam 9.6 miles to Downtown Bristol (Rhythm & Roots Reunion) 14 miles to Bristol Regional Medical Center 14.9 miles to The Pinnacle (shopping & food) 17.8 miles to TRI City Airport 17.8 miles to Johnson City, TN Our guests will enjoy all aspects of the lodge during their stay. We have a beautiful picnic area attached to the lodge that is enclosed on 3 sides perfect for cooking out. We call this "The Alcove". We also have a dock on the river that sits at the foot of our property. (You can either walk down the front lawn and across the street *about 100 yards**, or drive your vehicle to park on the pull-off next to the dock.) It houses 2 picnic tables for eating right on the water. NOTE: Fishing in front of our property is prohibited from November 1st through February 1st, as this section of the river is closed for spawning during this time frame. There are other sections of the river that remain open, just not directly in front of our house.
