Welcome to your modern lake house! This beautiful home sits on 4 secluded acres on a private lake with a private beach. It is perfect for a week-end get-away or a long-term rental. Close to Ridgefield, Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, and Katonah. Lots of hiking trails and nature preserves nearby! The house is a quick 1-hr drive from New York City. Only 25 minutes to ski and Thunder ridge or ice skate from the private dock. Waccabuc lake is also an excellent spot for ice and fresh water fishing. This beautifully appointed newly-built modern home has an open floor plan and lake views. It has a high-end kitchen with state of the art appliances and marble countertops, an indoor and outdoor dining area, and a living room with a large smart 4K television, Apple TV and working fireplace. The home has radiant floor heating throughout and is quite cozy. The 3 bedrooms have lake views and the master bedroom has a private bathroom. We have 2 adult kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards and four child sized kayaks for you to enjoy. One of the bedrooms has a stand up desk and lake views and is a beautiful spot for working remotely. There is a huge lawn for playing, and acres of nature to explore. The waterfront features stunning sunsets and the nights are perfect for stargazing. Be sure to bring your fishing rods! Waccabuc is home to largemouth and small mouth bass, yellow perch, and eastern chain pickerel (fishing license required). The home is also very close to many horseback riding establishments and trails in North and South Salem. This house is connected to a larger house which will be vacant when you arrive. If it is occupied, you will be notified when we receive your inquiry and we can negotiate another price. It is very unlikely that this will be the case and you will have the property to yourself. We live in lower westchester and will respect your privacy, but we are just a phone call away should you need anything. Our caretaker is close by in case something in the home needs attention. Waccabuc is a quiet area with winding roads and plenty of natural places to explore. There are walking trails horseback riding trails and plenty of cross country skiing when the weather is right. Cross River is only 10 minutes away and has several excellent restaurants as well as a Green Way supermarket, pharmacy and ice cream shop. The Goldens Bridge Metro North train station is 15 minutes away where the train can get you to Grand Central as fast as 52 minutes. We can usually be flexible with check-in and check out times.
