Also on the main floor are a bathroom with a shower, and an enclosed office with a built-in desk. Wifi throughout the property. There is a gate which can be closed to prevent young children from accessing the stairs. The guest wing is on the lower level. It has a separate entry, mudroom, two bedrooms that share a communal full bath/laundry, and an en-suite with a spa-like bathroom. Guests have full access to the main living floor and the lower level guest wing, plus the entire yard. The lake is accessible by non-motorized craft, and swimming. The property manager will greet you upon arrival, provide a walk-through and answer any questions, and be available by text or phone throughout your stay. The lake community is ideal for bird-watching, and leisurely walks on quiet streets. There is lake access from the property and a communal beach, and a community park with a full playground, ball fields, tennis courts, and a skate park. There are numerous hiking and biking trails nearby, plus the New York State Rail Trail, and more than a few ski resorts. The village of Copake is less than a mile from the house, and has all basic amenities. 30 minute drive to Hudson Amtrak or to Amenia (Metro North Harlem Line Wassaic Station). 30 minutes to Great Barrington or Poughkeepsie.
