Currently, we are taking extra measures to clean and disinfect between guests plus spacing our guests further apart! This property is unique in that it is remote yet near so many places. The master bedroom is downstairs with a private bath, private sitting area with television, king size sleep number bed, and a private deck with a large outdoor hot tub. Four bedrooms are upstairs connected by a common den with a vaulted ceiling. Each of those bedrooms has a very comfortable (1) king, (2)queens or (1)double bed. There is a 46 foot screened porch on the front with plenty of sitting room including rocking chairs and a porch swing! There is a large deck off the back dining room as well with a table, chairs and a gas grill. Everything you need to make a perfect getaway in Central KY. The open space and extra-wide interior doors make it easy for wheelchairs. We also have a portable ramp to use for the 2 steps up through the garage into the house if needed. The entire house is very open with extra tall and vaulted ceilings and lots of exposed wood. Spacious kitchen with all amenities you would want and gas BBQ grill. As we are near Shaker Village we have decorated the house with Shaker-style furniture and primitive American decor. This is the perfect place to gather with family or friends and enjoy nature while being close to so much!! With permission we can arrange for use of the fire pit and for hiking. (A waiver must be signed to hike the trails) Minimum nights during winter season might be flexible.
