We offer the spacious common area for our guests to share quality time together, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. Contemporary chic meets country charm, with designer upgrades and unique touches within each interior living space. A gated entry grants guests access to 14 acres of delightful grounds nestled in a peaceful glen filled with lawns, gardens, live oak and olive trees, and views to nearby wooded hills, as well as ample parking. A sun-splashed outdoor living area offers guests a chance to both swim in a large, solar-heated pool (typically a comfortable water temperature May-Oct. depending on weather) and enjoy lounging in one of the many cushioned chaise-lounges or arm chairs. This space is also equipped with a six-seat hot tub, outdoor kitchen (including gas grill, sink, and undercounter refrigerator), outdoor heated shower, gas fireplace and patio heaters, sofas, large dining table, and a stunning shaded pergola to make every gathering a truly idyllic experience. Wood decks and a sand volleyball court complete the ultimate luxury getaway on this private country estate. Our property is ideally located in the exclusive eastern foothills which affords guests easy access to the vibrant 8-acre Sonoma Plaza, just 3.5-miles away, that defines Sonoma’s town center where visitors and locals alike enjoy historic sites, fine dining, tasting rooms, a farmers market, shopping, and community events. You will be surrounded by the charms of Sonoma’s rustic yet refined locale featuring bucolic scenery, mission-era history, and world-class wines. Gundlach Bundschu, Buena Vista, and other wineries are only a scenic 10-minute drive away. In addition, Napa Valley is 15 miles away from the property. Local hiking and biking opportunities for all levels abound. The guest unit (approximately 1400 sq. ft.) However, you may enjoy all the grounds among the structures. House Policies • NO DOGS OR PETS (no exceptions), including service and assistance animals, are allowed anywhere on the property at any time, since this would create a health and safety hazard for the owners who have severe pet allergies. • If you use the pool, you must CLOSE THE AUTOMATIC POOL COVER when finished, and never leave the cover open overnight (otherwise pine needles will destroy the motor). • NO GUESTS (including no daytime guests) are allowed on the property at any time that are not declared on your vacation rental agreement. This is required by our property insurance and strictly enforced. • We have a NO SHOES rule inside the house. Please remove your outdoor shoes either on the porch before you enter the house or immediately upon entering. Please leave your shoes by the front door until you are ready to exit the house. Consider bringing house slippers or sandals to wear indoors. • NO SMOKING on the premises at any time, including outdoors due to fire concerns. The use of fire is strictly limited to the gas fire pit and gas grill in the pool area, and the guest house fireplace. No open flames shall be left unattended, and no additional firewood or other burning materials is allowed on the property. • Quiet time outside the house is from 10 pm to 7 am, in consideration of our neighbors. Please do not play music outdoors during this time. • Do not to clog the toilets with excessive sanitary paper or debris. Only sanitary paper should be flushed down the toilets; other materials should be thrown out in the waste bins. • Please take care not to scratch the hardwood floors; for example, do not drag suitcases on the floors. • Please hang your damp towels on the towel racks in the bathrooms after showering and not on furniture in the rooms. NOTE: Any violation of the house rules may result in an immediate cancellation of the remainder of the reservation, expulsion from the property, and forfeiture of any deposit or payments made.
