Wooded Country Nature: Red Carpet

Relax in a private bedroom & bathroom. Enjoy the quiet house. The host lives in this house. This is in a quiet rural neighborhood. Located 9 miles from Alpine Valley Resort and 14 miles from scenic Lake Geneva Wisconsin. A red-carpeted bedroom (main level) includes two twin beds. Optional air mattress can be added inside the room. Room has ceiling fan and air conditioner. Enjoy the house and yard. Consider yourselves as visiting family. Please inquire if interested in using the kitchen. Host will make every effort to greet guests at the front door for check in. When this is not possible, host will provide instructions for self-guided check-in. Host enjoys socializing with guests as much or as little as guests prefer. Host will give guests their personal space and be available when needed. This sanctuary includes several acres of mature trees, birds and wildlife, private nature trails, flora, fauna and unadulterated conservancy land. Last year I was watching three baltimore orioles and two great-horned owls. I was visited up close by a red-tailed hawk which paused on my front deck. Most people use a car. Sometimes guests use UBER or Lyft, One guest arrived on his Bike. Area Activity Recommendations: Golf (many courses) Bike or hike a trail in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, Hike Lake Geneva shoreline trail Shop in Lake Geneva, Swim at a lake beach, Fish/ explore one of many area lakes by boat, jet ski, or kayak, Taste apple farm and winery, Concert at Alpine Valley Resort, Ski and snowboard at Alpine Valley or Grand Geneva resort, Snowmobile (trail access) Explore restaurants and antique shops in Lake Geneva, East Troy, Elkhorn, Delavan or Burlington. Star gaze at Yerkes Observatory (with advance reservation)
