Bluff Country Retreat - Bunk House

These Cozy Accomodations are a Bunk House attached to a shed. The space offers a log cabin theme and has a queen log bed and a twin bed and a pullout twin. There is a fireplace for use in the winter and is air conditioned for summer. There is a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave. There are multiple hotplates provided and a washer and dryer is available. There are miles of mowed walking trails on the property and we are located 3 miles form the Root River Bike Trail. The Bunk House is located on 80 acres of private property 3 miles from Whalan and the Root River Bike Trail. We have several miles of mowed walking trails throughout the property for guests to use. They provide opportunities for walking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. There are two dwellings on the property, a house and a bunkhouse. We do rent out the house as well, about 100 feet or so from bunk house. It has separate outdoor areas for gathering and a separate firepit. Both dwellings may be rented by different parties at the same times. Extended stay and seasonal discounts are available and described below. There are miles of mowed walking trails on the property. The trails are shared space on the property. We are available for questions and can be reached by phone, text or email. We do reserve the right to verify the correct number of guests and proper use of the property. The property is in a private location overlooking the Root River Valley. You are within a short drive of the many small towns that fall along the Root River and the Root River Bike Trail. A car is your best choice of transportation as we do live off a gravel road. We provide firewood for the fire pit and supply our bunkhouse guests with charcoal and lighter fluid free of charge. For a 3 night stay we will give you 10% off the nightly rate active on Airbnb , 4 nights a 15% discount off the nightly rate, 5 nights a 20% discount off the nightly rate, and greater than 5 nights a 25% discount off the nightly rate. For December through February we will give you a 10% discount off the nightly rate active on Airbnb. Rates will be adjusted during the reservation process after your reservation request is reviewed. You will have the opportunity to accept the lower rate before your booking is confirmed. There is a security camera mounted to south side of the house above the garage. It provides a view of the driveway as you enter the property.
