Tranquility by the Mouth of the mighty Smith River

Private room in a new house with an incredible view of the ocean as well as the mouth of the Smith River and the Tolowa Dee Ni dunes. Perfect for traveling professionals being 15 minutes away from Crescent City 13 minutes away from the prison. Perfect for fisherman being 10 minutes from 3 major rivers and 30 from a few more. I tend to know when the salmon are running because I can hear the seals. Brookings is only 5 minutes away with convenient shopping good restaurants and no sales tax. I just bought a new house in Smith River and i occupy one of the rooms. There are 2 other rooms i rent to travelling professionals and they share a bathroom. I just bought a Dozier chair that folds out into a single bed. This room can accommodate people who need a separate sleeping space from their travel partner.The house is situated near the 101 highway between Brookings oregon and Crescent city California. 13 miles from the prison and excellently located for traveling professionals. Kitchen, laundry, yard, bathroom. I am in the master with my chihuahuas and the other rooms are across the living room from me along with the shared bathroom. I have a semi circular driveway so we can all be out of each other's way with our cars. I am a retired veterinary technician and i just bought this brand new house. I along with my 2 disabled chihuahuas live here. I am renting out two of the rooms in the house. I will be coming and going doing my usual day to day stuff but available if needed. Almost directly on the California and Oregon border. 5 minutes to Brookings, no sales tax!, and 15 into Crescent city. Beautiful in both directions. Lots of beach and river access , even a casino. I am a first time host. Be gentle! I have spare blankets and new clean towels in each closet. In the kitchen feel free to make coffee and cook yourself something. I have plates,bowls, cutlery and a pot and frying pan. I ask that you not cook anything in grease as it gets in the air and settles in the carpet as a permanent smell. In my pet friendly room there is spare bowls and bedding options for your pet. The beds and mattresses are brand new. If your pet sleeps with you .please use a blanket under them. All pet guests must be approved by me prior to booking. I have a 6 lb dog with an autoimmune disorder that cannot be around fleas or happy puppies pawing at him. So its a case by case basis but i can work with everyone and see to their pets needs as well in most cases. Each room has a lock and 2 keys. There is a $50 charge for lost keys.
