Beautiful, quiet, sunny apartment with lower-level private patio & upper-level deck. 5-minute walk to downtown, shops, cafes, restaurants, library, and churches. Hop on the Nashua River Rail Trail and walk or bike to neighboring towns. Enjoy all Groton has to offer; miles of hiking trails, rent a canoe or kayak, golf, horse riding, fishing, apple, pumpkin, or berry picking, visit farmstands, walk up to Bancroft Castle on Gibbet Hill where "Little Women" was filmed and enjoy the view. 2 story fully equipped private and peaceful apartment next door to our house. From the lower level patio, sliding glass doors open into a bright and cheery living room with a sleep sofa and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is well equipped with everything you need to prepare snacks and cook simple meals. (double hot plate, toaster, barbecue grill on the patio, microwave, fridge, etc). Sleep peacefully in the adjoining cozy bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Take the inner stairway or the outer deck to the second level where sliding glass doors open into a spacious bright living room; vaulted ceiling with skylights, built-in bookcases, open plan living, dining, and kitchen area, designed and decorated to feel like home. The upstairs cozy bedroom opens into an adjoining sitting room or office and has a sliding door for privacy between the two rooms. The sitting room is the perfect quiet space to read and relax or open out the futon sleep sofa for extra guests. New bathroom, tile shower, washer and dryer, new kitchen with granite countertops. Enjoy cooking in your fully equipped kitchen or choose eating out, take out, or delivery from several fine or casual dining restaurants. Breakfast food will be provided to get you started for the first few days of your stay ( eg tea, coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal, fruit or yogurt) also salt, pepper, seasonings etc Enjoy time and space to relax or convert the kitchen table to your desk and work from home. Whether enjoying time off to relax or working from the apartment, enjoy all the comforts of home with TV, and excellent WIFI in a peaceful setting. Expect plenty of privacy . We will provide you with a trail map to locate and explore many miles of conservation land throughout Groton.
