Awesome Room by St. John's Hospital (Room#3)

We offer a comfortable, spacious bedroom inside a beautiful brick bungalow in Harper Woods, close to Grosse Point’s Mack avenue. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. This room is perfect for students on rotation and residencies at St. John's Hospital. We are only one mile away. We rent out 5 rooms in this house, mostly long term guests. There will most likely be other guests in the house during your stay. Each room has a keypad lock for complete privacy. We rent out 5 rooms in this house. We host both long term guests and short term guests. It is likely that there will be other guests during your stay. The room is inside a beautiful bungalow which features a fully updated kitchen for your use. We also have keyless entry using a key code on a keypad for the convince of our guests so they don't have to deal with the hassle of keys. Use of the laundry machines is free of charge to all of our guests. We have two garage parking spots and 2 parking sports on pavement behind the house. Parking in the garage is 1st come 1st served. The room has a queen sized bed, desk, chair, dresser and nightstand. It has a small closet with both hanging space and shelves. There is a motion activated WiFi camera with two way voice on the garage as well as a ring doorbell. It is to assist guests with checking in and for improved security. Guests will have access to laundry, Kitchen, Living Room, Bathroom, Wifi, and their bedroom. Keyless entry as well. We live 4 hours away from this property and usually stops by about once a month. Our house manager stops by weekly to clean the common areas (we do not enter the bedrooms during reservations). We are quick to respond to messages through the AirBNB platform, by text or by phone. Our neighborhood is a beautiful place with many similar old brick bungalows, and the occasional colonial scattered throughout. The streets are well kept, the children are often out playing in their front yards, and people are always out walking their dogs and enjoying the weather in the summer. There is a bus system called smart bus. You can go to the smart bus website to help plan your transportation throughout the city. They also have an app. It is a pretty slow way of getting around though. We highly suggest using the smartphone app Uber. To call a taxi typically costs $15 for a ride to downtown Detroit, and about $30 for a ride to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport (depends on the time of day). Guests driving their own cars will have access to off street parking. There is a keypad on the door off of the drive way that allows guests to come and go as they please without the hassle of keys. Guests will be provided a code they can use to enter the house shortly before their stay.
