A private Cottage on a beautiful 350 Acre farm with a scenic pond, rolling pastures, winding creeks, and thousands of feet of mountain trails going to the top of a mountain. Bring your mountain bike and hiking boots! Cottage sleeps 4 with a full kitcken,wifi and deck overviewing the farm. Only 15 min from Lake Chatuge, Hayesville, Hiawassee, Murphy, Young Harris, and John C Campbell Folk School!! It is rare to find a farm in the smoky mountains that has 100 acres of rich bottom land and lush rolling hills of pasture combined with streams, mountain springs, fresh spring feed pond, woodland that has not been logged for over 75 years and comes with a mountain! This mountain goes up 1000 feet from the bottom land via miles of trails through large oak trees and spring feed creeks. The mountain top views make the hike wort the trip to the top! Besides nature's gifts on the farm, it's central located to the area's most popular tourist attractions. We have plenty of parking to bring your boat to launch it in Lake Chatuge only 10 minutes away. You can ride a bike to John C Campbell Folk School or drive to the near by Nantahala National Forest. Downtown Hayesville, Hiawassee, Young Harris are only 15 minutes away. Be careful of your money at the casinos in Murphy which is only a 20 minute drive. You will enjoy the privacy of the cottage as you drive into the quarter-mile winding driveway surrounded by trees. The cottage is newly furnished and spotlessly clean. The cottage has a beautiful outdoor deck facing a green pasture, apple orchard and forest lands. It's equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom and large studio room with a smart TV to log into your lap top, amazon, Netflix or any of your favorties. The only other people living on the 350 acres is your friendly host who will honor your privacy but is available for your needs. This farm was recently purchased to make a tree house farm to table restaurant/ yoga retreat. The cottage guest will be the first to visit the farm as we build your favorite tree house. Our initial guest for the cottage will receive a coupon for future treehouse vacation rentals. Bring your mountain bike, boat, hiking shoes and enjoy nature in the Smoky Mountains. We look forward to your visit! All guest have full access to the cottage which is a single private rental. You will not be disturbed by any other guests. You also have full access to walk around and enjoy the farm and mountain land providing you follow the restrictions. Our friendly host is there if you need them. However they are early to bed and early to rise. Guest are free to check in online and come in anytime. However we ask that you do not call or text the host from 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM. A home cooked vegetarian breakfast is available from the host for a small fee and one day notice. A quiet country neighborhood just 5 miles from route 64. Excellent location and central located to major tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. Public transportation is within 15 minutes and there is plenty of parking on site.
