A fully renovated 1939 Florida Farmhouse with all modern features but the charm of yesteryear. The property is on 3 acres and gives privacy to guests as there are no direct neighbors. Centrally based around the living room, two bedrooms have queen beds with ensuites and the third bedroom has a twin bed with desk and dresser. The galley kitchen looks through to the dining room. An internal laundry with washer, dryer and ironing facilities is off the dining room. Outside has a three bay carport/pole barn as well as a patio area with 6 seat outdoor table and BBQ. There is also a firepit underneath the beautiful crape myrtle trees and oaks. Located 20 minutes to downtown Gainesville, UF and Shands, 10 minutes to Paynes Prairie, 25 minutes to downtown Ocala, 75 minutes to Disney and Universal and close to I75, this property is very centrally located. Downtown Micanopy is only 2 miles away and offers amazing antique stores, awesome boutique eateries and a taste of "Old Florida". Being on the south side of Gainesville gives easy access to UF and Shands without the dreaded Gainesville traffic. The farmhouse is located on a main road but is hidden behind a large row of trees. It is very private but there can be some road noise at peak times of the day when outside. It is very quiet inside the house. The wifi is rural wifi and is good enough to stream Netflix or chat with friends online but may not support people wishing to work from home unless you bring your own hotspot. The Micanopy area is known for its bad internet service and unfortunately this is out of our control. There is a fully fenced horse pasture that can be utilized with prior approval and discussion.
