Ocean View Guest Suite (Private Bath & Entry)

This rental is for 1 guest room with private bath and private entrance located in an owner occupied single family house. The rental includes free parking on the premises; free wifi; and smart TV. Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m. The guest suite includes a smart lock to ensure 24/7 check-in capability. No pets and no smoking are allowed on the property. The guest room includes all of the necessities: small fridge, microwave, tea kettle, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, luggage rack, walk-in closet, cups, glasses, basic cutlery, plates, bowls, private bath with shower, A/C, beach bag, beach chairs and bath & beach towels. You can see the ocean and Boston skyline from your room and the front porch! The bathroom includes granite counter top, towel rack and shower. We provide bath lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Hair dryer is also included. Guests have access to the guest suite and front porch with two chairs and a table. Getting Around: Car is the best option. Wonderland subway station is 15 minutes away and will take you to Boston, Cambridge and beyond. Uber and Lyft are available as well. Rental Rules: Thank you for your interest in our vacation rental property. This is not B&B or a hotel. You are a a guest in our home and we expect you to treat our home as your own (or better if your home is a mess). To ensure that we all have pleasant experience, we are including the following rules: Remove your shoes prior to entering the guest suite. Only social drinking please. Absolutely no drugs or other illegal behavior. No smoking inside or outside. If you smoke please take a walk on the street. Do not bring cigarette butts inside of the house. Do not flick it into the yard. This includes marijuana. No marijuana use, in any form, is permitted on the property. Candles/open fire of any kind are not allowed in the suite. Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m. Let us know your approximate arrival time at the time of booking. Please turn the lights off, turn off AC or lower room temperature in the winter when you are out for the day. The use of our wifi to illegally download programs, movies or to conduct illegal activities online is prohibited. Only registered guests are allowed in the suite and our house unless permitted, in writing, by the property owner. No hair dying products in the bathroom. Keep noise level low between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. No parties or events. Sorry, this property is not suitable for children under 11 years old. Electric Vehicle charger is available to guests for additional fee. Check with us prior to charging your vehicle. Do not flush feminine products, wipes or food into the toilet. Only toilet paper, please. There is a waste basket in the bathroom. As silly as it sounds we ask that you wear clothes while in the common areas of the property such as the porch. Other Things to Note: Nahant is a beautiful, safe beach community close to Boston and Logan airport. It is connected to the mainland via a causeway. It is a hidden gem just 30 minute north of Boston. You are always a walk-in distance from the beach and feel like on vacation 24/7. Nahant used to be a home to some of the country's first amusement parks and a popular summer resort destination for wealthy Bostonians. Visitors to the island included the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. There are many beautiful coastal towns short drive from Nahant and we will be happy to help you plan your vacation (at no cost) if you would like to explore Nahant and the surrounding communities. You are a short drive from Salem known for witch trials and as a trading port, Marblehead which was recently featured in Vogue, Essex, Gloucester, Manchester by the Sea and many other beautiful seaside towns. This area is perfect for going to the beach, antiquing, whale watching, boating and exploring. Rockport and Newburyport are also in the area of Cape Ann and about 50 minute drive. We've helped number of our guests with travel plans for exploring areas of the beaten path. In addition, you are a short, 30-minute drive from Boston and Cambridge, yet, being on the island feels like ways away from the busy cities. We have no pets in the house and no pets are allowed into the suite. Video cameras monitor the exterior of our home. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons, to monitor occupancy and other policies noted here. The use in no way infringes upon expectation of privacy in these common areas.
