Cozy Chestnut Cottage-1 mi from Fairpark and NMMC

Adorable cottage in the popular Mill Village neighborhood in DOWNTOWN Tupelo- just minutes from great restaurants, shopping and events. Home away from home with a great floor plan - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, vinyl plank flooring, carpeted bedrooms, updated kitchen and bathrooms, inviting front porch. Corner lot across street from beautiful city park. Tupelo's infamous train comes through downtown several times day/night. So be aware if you are a light sleeper! This home is located just one mile from Fairpark, one mile from North MS Medical Center, and 1 mile from the BancorpSouth Arena. Veterans Park is approximately 2.5 miles away as well as Elvis Presely's birthplace. It is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of local restaurants just minutes away. Guests will have the entire home to themselves. We live and work in Tupelo so if you need anything we are a phone call away! Mill Village is an old neighborhood, with a recent revitalization effort in full force. There is is mix of young couples, older residents, and every age in-between. It's quiet, except for when the infamous train treks through town. So if you are a light sleeper, please keep this in mind! The train runs through downtown Tupelo and next to the neighborhood of Mill Village. We do our best to help dampen the sound of the horn of the train, but you may want to bring ear plugs! We provide noise machines in each bedroom. We have a Keurig available as well as a traditional coffee maker. We will have a few filters for your use, so please bring your favorite coffee with you. We have bed linens, pillows, limited towels and washcloths, washer and dryer, limited dishwashing tabs, dish soap, hand soap, hair dryer and one set of travel sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each bathroom. We cover the mattresses and box springs with a zipped mattress cover and cover each pillow with a zipped pillow protector that is washed between guests. There is a smart TV in the living room and in both bedrooms. We will gladly make available streaming services for the TVs. Please let me know before your stay if you would like us to make available Netflix and/or Youtube TV. No parties or gatherings are allowed on the premises. The home is in a neighborhood, so quiet hours should start at 10:00. No loud noises that would disturb the neighbors. There are security cameras located next to each entrance. The cameras will stay active during your stay.
