Summary: Creekside elevated tent, with private access to the Delaware River. Beautiful raised platform style campsite with all the hot water you can handle (in extras) and private access to the Delaware River. We have two kayaks on site for your use in the river, as well as tubes if you don't feel like working on vacation (in extras). Short walk back to the campsite from the parking lot. Owners live on site, and are a phone call or text away if you need them, but please be respectful of their space, and try and stick to the campsite and the 10 acres of creekside wooded property. Also a short drive to one of the best flea markets on the east coast, and the charming towns of New Hope, Lambertville and Yardley. Ask the owner for local dining recommendations if needed. The Space: Secluded campsite, less than an hour from Center City Philadelphia and NYC Crossings, it's more fun than you can handle on the river. Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Tentrr Extras: These are other additional amenities, services, or activities that may be provided by your CampKeeper for an additional fee. Please coordinate in advance if you'd like to add these to your booking. Availability of any Extras are not guaranteed and must be confirmed and paid for at least 24 hours prior to check-in. Tube Rental - $40 As many tubes as you need for duration of your stay. Life vests not included. If you drop off somewhere up river you will need a ride back to the drop. We will provide no transportation. Firewood - $30 A stash of firewood, take as much as you need from our stack, but it is open to the elements, so if it's raining, it could be wet. Kayak Rental - $50 Rent both (2) inflatable two person kayaks for the duration of your stay. Life vests not included. River flows, so if you drop off somewhere up river you need a ride back, no transport provided! Unlimited Hot Water - $60 Enjoy our state of the art hot water system. Comes with a kitchen sink, portable shower stall, and unlimited hot water. We just provide the kit and instructions. Camper must assemble and disassemble. Other Things to Note: -Do ask the owner for recommendations. -Don't bother the owner after 7pm, they have two small children that they need to put to bed. -Do explore the wooded section of the property. -Don't wander around in the owner's yard. They have small children that could be caught off guard. -Do feel free to walk the creek bed and out into the river if the river flows are very low. -Do be very careful of the river flows, if the river is high, it can be very dangerous. -Do ask the owner if it's safe. -Do be careful of poison ivy. It's prevalent in New Jersey, but if you wear pants and closed toed shoes you should be safe. If you know how to spot it, it's also avoidable. We will try out best to clear it from the camp area. -Don't make a ton of noise -Don't play very loud music -Don't build a fire outside of the fire pits -Do have a great time!!! Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf. Tentrr Customer Support can be reached at (888) 798-9093 or at [email protected].
