The Manor is ideal to house a small wedding party and the lawn can be the setting for an open-air wedding ceremony. It can also host a business meeting, staff retreat or company gathering. There are many comfortable spots inside the house or find one outside on the porch overlooking the verdant lawn and tall trees. You can also take a walk in the historic cemetery. The gate is in the hedges below the garage. Stroll downtown and explore the streets of a Victorian industrial town. The Ashuwillticook bike path heads south for 11 miles eventually following the Hoosic River, crossing through wetland and skirting around Cheshire Reservoir. It’s mostly flat because it follows the former railroad route. In town there are a few small museums and historic sites: The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum, Quaker Meeting House, Thunderbolt Ski Museum, New England Holocaust Institute Museum, and William McKinley Statue.
