Laurel Bend is a family friendly campground on the Licking River ideal for large groups with children of all ages. Our property consists of 27 peaceful acres with several buildings perfect for your group! We are listed as a Unique Stay for Answers in Genesis and listed on both the Ark and Creation Museum's sites and are honored to host so many great youth and church groups. A step above primitive camping! This listing is for ONE of our bunkhouses which can be configured for your group of up to 40 using bunk beds for kids and twins and futons that convert to double beds for chaperones. Our bunk houses are 3600sqft each. The bunks are in one large building with the bunkhouses on each end and bathrooms in the middle. First is Bunkhouse #1, then the men's restrooms, women's restrooms and Bunkhouse #2 at the end. Please see the photos as we have a floorplan that shows the entrances. Our men's and women's restrooms each contain 5 toilets, 5 showers and 4 large sinks, as well as a baby changing area. There are handicapped bathroom and shower stalls in each as well. Showers have curtains. Pricing is per the space, not the number of people. We provide bed, latex mattress, tables, chairs, games and some outdoor equipment. You will need to bring sleeping bag, pillow and a towel. Breakfast and possibly other meals are served buffet style and can be provided at an additional cost. We will contact you before your stay to confirm availability. Standard examples of items include scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, hard boiled eggs and fruits. Drinks include coffee, juice, milk and water. This must be prepaid and is non-refundable. Breakfast is $7.99 for adults, $4.99 for kids 3- 12 and free for 2 and under. Guests have access to the entire property (land), recreational items, restrooms and the sleeping area that they are renting. You can unload vehicles in front of the bunkhouse doors and then park in the front of the property. We are happy to be as hands-off or hands-on as you would like, and will help in any way possible to make your stay as best as possible. You can walk to town over the bridge for the local smokehouse or bakery, but you are free to use the grounds, cook with our charcoal grills (there are three) or reserve an 18 quart roaster or use your own. We have a building with a commercial kitchen where we can coordinate meals for an additional fee. This is a shared space with other guests, sometimes you may be the only ones here, others we may have 200. Please be respectful of everyone. We have a monthly flea market (2nd Saturday), festivals and other events. Check FB or our website for a calendar of events. Make sure your party knows to keep all personal items with your other belongings, not leaving them in bathrooms.
